എടക്കര: ശ്രീവിവേകാനന്ദ പഠന കേന്ദ്രം എം എഡ് കോഴ്സ് ആരംഭിച്ചു. കലാലയം വിട്ടാലും ഗുരുശിഷ്യബന്ധം കാത്ത് സൂക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടത് ആവശ്യമാണെന്ന് കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സ്റ്റി ഡീന് ഡോ. രാജഗോപാല് പറഞ്ഞു. മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ എടക്കരയില് ശ്രീവിവേകാനന്ദ പഠന കേന്ദ്രം ആരംഭിച്ച എം എഡ് കോഴ്സ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
ഈ ദേശത്തെ എതോ പൂര്വികര് ചെയ്ത സുകൃതമായിരിക്കാം ഇവിടെ ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനം പടുത്തുയര്ത്താന് ഇടയാക്കിയതെന്ന് ശ്രീവിവേകാനന്ദ പഠന കേന്ദ്രം പ്രസിഡന്റ് കെ ആര് ഭാസ്ക്കരപിള്ള പറഞ്ഞു. ഇനിയും പുതിയ കോഴ്സുകള് ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ഉദ്ഘാടന ചടങ്ങില് പ്രിന്സിപ്പല് ഡോ: രമ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു.
നിരവധി കോഴ്സുകള് നടത്തുന്ന വിവേകാനന്ദ പഠന കേന്ദ്രം പുതിയതായി ആരംഭിച്ച എം.എഡ് കോഴ്സില് പതിനെട്ട് പേര്ക്കാണ് അഡ്മിഷന്. കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയുടെ കീഴിലാണ് ഈ കോഴ്സ്
കോട്ടയംവാര്ത്താഡോട്ട്കോമില് കെ.ആര് ഭാസ്ക്കരപിള്ള (മഞ്ചേരി ഭാസ്ക്കരപിള്ള) സന്ദര്ശിച്ച അവസരത്തില് നടത്തിയ അഭിമുഖം.
കോട്ടയം: പമ്പാനദിക്കരയായ പുല്ലാട്ടു നിന്നു മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ നിലമ്പൂരില് 1964 ല് അധ്യാപകനായി പ്രവേശിച്ച് പടിപടിയായി ഉയര്ന്ന് ഒരു പ്രസ്ഥാനമായി മാറി. ആദ്ധ്യാത്മിക, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ, സാംസ്കാരിക മണ്ഡലങ്ങളില് പരിലസിച്ചു നില്ക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തിത്വത്തിനുടമയാണ് മഞ്ചേരി കെ ആര് ഭാസ്ക്കരന് പിള്ള.
അധ്യാപകനായി തുടങ്ങി, ജീര്ണിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ഒരു സ്കൂള് ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് വികസിപ്പിച്ച് പടിപടിയായി ഒരു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപന ശൃംഖല അദ്ദേഹം കെട്ടിപ്പടുത്തു. കുടിയേറ്റ മേഖലയായ നിലമ്പൂരിലെ എടക്കര പഞ്ചായത്തില് ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചേക്കറോളം വരുന്ന ക്യാംപസില് വിവിധോദ്ദേശ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള് പടുത്തുയര്ത്തി. എല് പി, യു പി ഹയര് സെക്കന്ഡറി, വൊക്കേഷണല് ഹയര് സെക്കന്ഡറി സ്കൂളുകള്, ആര്ട്സ് ആന്ഡ് സയന്സ് കോളജ്, ടീച്ചര് ട്രെയ്നിംഗ് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂട്ട്, ബി എഡ് കോളജ്, എം എഡ് കോളജ്, ഹെല്ത്ത് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂട്ട് തുടങ്ങിയ വൈവിധ്യമാര്ന്ന കോഴ്സുകള് കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശ്രീ വിവേകാനന്ദ എഡ്യൂക്കേഷന് കോംപ്ലക്സിലുള്ളത്. ഏതാണ്ട് 6000 വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികളും 300 അദ്ധ്യാപകരും ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു. സ്വാശ്രയ കോഴ്സുകള് വിജയകരമായി നടത്തുന്നു. സമസ്ത നായര് സമാജം പ്രസിഡന്റ്, വിവേകാനന്ദ വിജ്ഞാന കേന്ദ്രം പ്രസിഡന്റ് തുടങ്ങിയ പദവികള് വഹിക്കുകയും രാമകൃഷ്ണ മിഷന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യപ്രാപ്തിക്കായി അഹോരാത്രം പ്രയത്നിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. കൃസ്ത്യന്, മുസ്ളീം, ഹിന്ദു സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില് നിന്നെല്ലാം ആദ്ധ്യാത്മിക പ്രഭാഷണത്തിനായി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ക്ഷണിക്കാറുണ്ട്.

Manjeri Bhaskaran Pillai turns an institution and inspiration at Nilambur
Kottayam: From the banks of River Pamba at Pullad, Manjeri K R Bhaskaran Pillai moved over to Nilambur in Malappuram district in 1964 as a teacher to become custodian of a multiplex of educational institutions, besides being the beacon light in the spiritual, cultural and social realms.
In the settlers' paradise of Nilambur, Manjeri Bhaskaran Pillai took over an LP School that was falling out and gradually built up an educational empire at Edakkara panchayat.
There are LP, UP, higher secondary, vocational higher secondary schools, arts and science college, teacher training institute, B.Ed College, M.Ed College, at the health inspector training institute at the nearly 25-acre Sree Vivekananda Education Complex with 6000 students and 300 teachers and non-teaching staff members. He has proved himself to lead self-financing, aided and unaided institutions successfully.
Besides being the president of Sajmastha Nair Samajam,Bhaskaran Pillai, who leads the Vivekananda Vijnana Kendram, firmly believes in the ideology propounded by Sree Ramakrishna Mission and works meticulously to achieve the aims.
He has the distinction of being invited by Hindu, Christian and Muslim institutions and organizations for delivering discourses.
He assumed charge as the president of Samastha Nair Samajam on April 6 this year.The Samajam is of the firm opinion that Nair Service Society is grossly mismanaged. The NSS is being run as the private property of two persons, according to Bhaskaran Pillai.
A series of failures mark the running of Nair Service Society, which could not be credited with making any major achievement during the last 24 years. The State has got 45 engineering colleges in the self-financing sector, none of which having the NSS insignia. Even as nine medical colleges came into being, NSS did not work for getting one.teh same is the case with para-medical institutions. From among the 150 B.Ed colleges and 120 teacher training institutes, nothing could be secured by the NSS.
Reviewing the administrative report of NSS from 1984 to 2008, Bhaskaran Pillai observed that the print and types remain the same. Only figures are changed. Huge amounts are purportedly allocated for various projects, but implementation is abysmally poor, Pillai alleged.
NSS has deep, serious problems with the society's education realm crushed, institutions remaining empty, division fall rampant and 1500 teachers' vacancies looming large, if the drawbacks pointed by Pillai are any indication.
